What is The Aedas Cycle to Cannes?

The annual Cycle to Cannes charity challenge comprises two cycling endurance events, both covering 1500km. Our main ride takes 6 days to reach Cannes and is suitable for fit commuters as well as cyclosportive riders. Meanwhile, a chasing pack will attempt to catch them despite leaving London 2 days later.

A baton will be carried continuously by both relays for the entire distance and presented to Boris Johnson on the C2C podium along with a cheque for the money raised for charity. After completing the ride, the cyclists – all professionals working in development, architecture or planning - change their lycra for business suits and take part in the MIPIM Property Fair.

By sponsoring The Aedas Cycle to Cannes at MIPIM 2012 you will gain significant and sustained brand exposure - in the current climate it is one of the most economical ways to do this. You will also be supporting a number of charities and projects supported by C2C. In 2011 we generated over £223,000, for good causes. In 2012 two-thirds of our fundraising will be going to Coram - the UK’s first-ever children’s charity. They help children facing loss to feel safe and loved, and to have access to education and opportunities. C2C will also be making a selection of smaller grants to other charities.
